Sub level 10 Field medics should just focus on leveling up on (easy) normal, hard and sometimes on suicidal if the team you are healing is good enough. Due to this ability medic becomes the most useful class in the entire game at the level 10. If you have selected left side abilities your grenades are even more useful and give boosts. No matter how bad your team gets slammed. One can learn to cycle them fluently enough. You can carry medigun and SMG and rifle, with such a medic build you will never run out of recharged healingdarts. Only if you (and your team) have too much dosh. Don't upgrade, it's generally waste of dosh for the medic. Just cycle them as the healingdarts recharge. As was already mentioned by Serious in the thread earlier. But this only works in theory, People in this game probably just sell your guns instead and buy an offperk weapon for their class they don't need or can't even use properly.Īs for the guns I would recommend the medigun and the SMG. Also the field medic can work as a piggy bank for your teammates. If you have a good teammates in your squad, they should provide you with dosh soon enough. Sometimes pew, but never go full pew pew. Ideally position yourself in the middle of your squad. Besides they can pull some very mean, angry Scrakes and Fleshpounds your way. They will learn to say close to you eventually if they run off from the team and out of your sights. But no matter how much one plays the game, it doesn't always mean anything more than how much they have spent their time on the game.Ĭhoose your abilities accordingly with how your teammates behave towards you.Ĭhanges in your abilities from the menu take effect only on the start of the wave.ĭo not forget the NOOBS! Just let them learn mostly on their own first. Don't prejudge players! The most decorated players are usually the ones who spent the time most in the game and doesn't take your healing for granted, appreciates it and knows what medic can and cannot do. Wisest choice would be to stay close and focus on the most decorated veterans. On the left side you have teamplay and on the right you have solo abilities.Įvery multiplayer game you carefully examine your teammates. Generally this means you have, at your level 15, three abilities to choose from already! It's the most versatile and most dependent on your team! The Field Medic is easily the easiest AND the hardest classes to master in the game. Now embrace for reply, worth a guide for field medic alone that nobody needs or asks for: TL DR Forget everything that people tell you and go find out your own style!! Remember only the things that resonate with your OWN playstyle! You will learn the most by trial and error and if you use your own reasoning. And if you have the Resilience skill, you can go tanking the Fleshpound so that it stops raging and your team eliminates it easily. It doesn't take much to update the weapon at all, even if you add a little damage and reload darts, it will still serve you well in the game with or without upgraded.Īnd try to eliminate Trash and Media Zeds who avoid distracting the team. Remember that the most important thing is that you buy first the weapon you will use, ammunition, grenades and armor, then the last thing if you have money left over, buy upgraded or give it to your team, which is more important. Incision & Shotgun 301 = Very useful for electrocuting the Scrake and slowing down the Fleshpound a bit (not highly recommended at all). ![]() Healththrower = In case of being in very confined places (like holdout) or when you feel surrounded by thousands of zeds. ![]() Shotgun 301 & Rifle 401 = The best option for me. Now, the weapons that I recommend (according to me), are the ones that help a lot depending on the situation: Keep an eye on your team and keep shooting darts to give them buffs and that they survived, you can use the TAB of scores to see their health status easier and be attentive. ![]() More than anything, your most important role is to keep the team alive without taking any casualties as much as possible so as not to lose the game.
